I'm 36 yrs. old and a few mos. ago my 38 yr. old ex husband of 8 yrs. left me back in July for another woman he met online & cheated with. I was devestated but picked up & somehow moved on with my life. Several months have passed now and I just recently started dating a 26 yr old who seems to have more maturity and couth than my ex ever had. My ex was very immature and our entire marriage he was a skirt chaser. I have known the 26 yr. old's brother and his wife (who introduced us) for years now so I knew he was raised to be a true gentleman. I'm thinking some Good Karma came my way after being traumatized back in the summer. My ex was 38 and acted like he was 15 and the new man I'm dating is 26 but has the maturity level of a 40 yr. old. When we are together, I forget that he is 10 yrs. younger. So my question is, If a woman is older than a man who seems very mature should I be concerned about our 10 yr. age difference? I always here people say age is just a number. What do you think

I say as long as you both are over 21, than age shouldn't really matter. Go for it!

Hey I'm 41 and have dated guys in their 20s. So long as neither of you care don't worry about it. You're both adults and free to make you own choices.

age at the two of your age levels really is just a number.i wouldn't worry about it so much if everything clicks and he seems mature for his age.

if the ten year age gap concerned a 21 year old guy then id be wary but at the age of 26,he should have already played the field and know what he wants.i say enjoy it while you're together, who knows what life has instore for us but grab the happiness while you can
