Has your marriage lasted more then 15 yrs and if so and what has made it so successful?

My husband is 43,im 39 and we have been happily married almost 17 yrs...Our marriage has been successful cause we love each other more then anything,give each other lots of affection like lots of hugs,kisses,cuddling,rarely fight,can make each other laugh,are each others best friend,trust,communication,neither 1 of us has ever cheated and never will and always being honest with each other.

Ours has lasted because, like you and your husband, we are best friends. We do everything together and set aside time every Sunday to just BE with each other, talk, be romantic, listen to music, have a glass of wine - and anything else that comes up. ;^) We committed to each other that we would never have any secrets between us and there would NEVER, EVER be any cheating.

we've been married for almost 16 years, he cheated after 1 1/2 of marriage, we worked it out, and we have never been happier or in a stronger relationship. what has made it so successful? trust, honesty, communication, good sense of humor!

i've been married for 29 years it will be 30 in june. we only knew each other 3 weeks before we married. i joke that the reason the marriage has lasted as long as it has is because we worked separate shifts and didn't spend that much time together. seriously i'm his 3rd wife he's my 2nd husband. when his mom met me she said you seem like a nice girl and i'm not saying this because i don't like you but you need to get away from him as fast as you can because he will hurt you. well i didn't listen and yes we've had ups and downs but it's worked out so far. congrats on your 17 years in the age of divorce that saying something.
